Matt Cassel Injury Update
Cassel is out 2-4 weeks with an MCL sprain after the hit he received from 300 pounder Brandon Mebane of Seattle.
If he is you fantasy starter time to scramble and find a backup. If he is your back up and you have a bye in the first 5 weeks, time to find another backup. Chad Pennington finished 9th last year among Quarterbacks and is available in plenty of ten team leagues. Jason Campbell, Joe Flacco and Shaun Hill could also be legitimate fantasy backups or one week fill ins.

Kyle Orton Hurt - Leaves Game with Sliced Finger
Another one bites the dust! Orton left the Bronco Bear game sunday night after slicing his pointer finger on a helmet. As long as he did not damage a tendon he should be go for the regular season. Something to watch if he is you backup.
Matt Cassel Gets Hurt
Matt Cassel went down on the third play of the game last night. Luckily for Cassel owners X-rays on the leg came back negative.
If Cassel were to miss time this season Tyler Thigpen provides a nice fill in as fantasy starter or a high end back up.

Brandon Marshall Suspended!
Brandon Marshall is unhappy with his misdiagnosed hip (that resulted in offseason surgery) and the Broncos failure to sign him to a contract extension.
A risk for your fantasy team but for a forth or fifth round is a risk I would take if you have already drafted at least on elite receiver.

Madden 2010
I myself have not had the pleasure of playing the new Madden. Because the Wii version is "dumbed" down yet again, for a second year to cater to a younger audience *yawn. Judging from reviews it is another addicting fun filled Madden game for sports fans everywhere. The graphics look stellar! For an in depth review watch the video below

Seahawks Sign Edgerrin James
According to league sources the Seattle Seahawks signed Edgerrin James to one-year, $2 million deal. In turn, they released T.J. Duckett. This leads me to believe that lack faith in Julius Jones or have durability concerns. Either way Jones should not be on your fantasy radar.
