Sleepers for Week 6

Quarterbacks

David Garrard - has only thrown Touchdowns at home this season. He will be playing the St.Louis Rams so those of you with Manning and Romos with byes this is a good bye week fill in.

Kyle Bulger - Is playing one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL. 

Mark Sanchez - has been pretty solid this season and playing the Bills in what should be a massive blow-out.

Running Backs

Corey Buckhalter - Is playing the Chargers who have given up the most fantasy points to opposing backs. He has been dropped in many leagues due to his injury last week. He has been practicing this week so I believe he was play. Be sure to check his status before game time to make should they didn't decide to inactivate him and wait until after the bye week to play him again.

Wide Receivers 

Donny Avery - Is playing one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL.

Andre Caldwell is second in receptions among Bengal recievers and has scored 2 this season. This week he plays houston.

Torry Holt - Jack Del Rio has been know to hold grudges and with what should be an easy match-up against the Rams, (who have loss 15 straight) Mike Sims Walker may not play even if he suits up. Making Holt the go to guy in Jacksonville. Expect him to break his touchdown drought this week.

Sidney Rice - Has been slowly emerging as the lead reciever in Minnsota

Judgement Day Review

Clinton Portis - Rushed for a mere 42 yards against the Detroit Lions. He has yet to score on the season. If he can't get it started against Tampa he may find his way to the Waivers.

Matt Forte - Not what owners wanted but 106 yards combined was reasonable. He has still yet to score this season is rushing a paltry 2.5 yards a carry. Scary stuff for Forte owners! He plays Detroit this week so if he doesn't get things going time to hit the panic button!

Steve Slaton - What is worse the lack or carries or that Chris Brown got the goal line looks last week? Good news for Slaton owners though is a Chris Brown fumbled on the goal line costing the Texans the game. So maybe Slaton will find the end-zone this week against Oakland.

Brandon Jacobs Hello! He has a pulse.  92 yards and a touchdown last week. A little troubling he wasn't more productive against a horrid Tampa Defense on 26 carries.

So with Brandon Jacobs out of the doghouse owners are still waiting for Slaton,Forte, and Portis to step their game up. With all of them having easy match-ups this is their last chance to prove their stud status!

Bad News for Steve Slaton Owners

    Every Steve Slaton owners worse nightmare!

Gary Kubiak (Texans head coach) said he'd like for Brown to have 10-12 carries every game.  (The Texans' official site.)

"We'd love to have Chris come out of a game with 10 or 12 carries all the time for our team," Kubiak said. "But we haven't been past the 20-carry mark as a football team in a while, so hopefully we're able to run the ball somewhat effectively, so we get to see them (Brown and Steve Slaton) both. If he's carrying it 10 or 12 times, then I bet we're carrying it 35 times, so that's something we'd like to come out of the game with." Brown carried three times for 15 yards against the Jets last Sunday.  It has yet to be seen which running back will be lined up in the red zone.

This is bad news for disappointed Slaton owners. Meaning he may only see 10-15 carries a game himself and might concede goal line carries to Brown. (Disregard the nonsense from Kubiak who thinks he will run it 35 times a week)

After a terrible week one for Slaton, it only leads owners to believe week 2 will be even worse against a stout Titan Defense. Slaton did tear this defense apart last season. Rushing over 100 yards in the previous two meetings (216 combined) and and  a score. But based on last weeks collapse of the Houston offense, he is a bench candidate if you have reasonable alternative options.
