• Tory Holt has 196 yards and 12 catches in two games. He has Tenn and KC coming up.
  
• Cardinals Defense plays Car this week. EVEN the Bills managed 14 points so expect the number 1 run D to out the wood to them.
  
• Austin Collie Err on the side of caution with A.Gonzalez's possible return.
  
• Lee Evans back to back scores with Fitzpatrick starting at quarterback. 
• Jamaal Charles Scary Larry has been banned from the team. His return to starter after the bye week is unlikely. Charles is a MUST grab if he starts because Larry was 4th in the NFL in rushing attempts, meaning Charles will see plenty of action.
  
• Miles Austin Went ape bananas again. INSANITY! 

Deeper League Pick-Ups

• WR Michael Crabtree had 5 catchs 50+ yards in his debut.
  
• QB Alex Smith is the new starter in San Francisco.
  
• RB Shonn Greene carried 19 times for 144 yards and two touchdowns. With L.Washington out for the season he should see 10+ carries a game. 

Drop

Fred Jackson had 5 carries to Lynches 17. There is a new sheriff in town.

Waiver Wire Week 6 Pick-ups

Quarterbacks

Matt Hasselbeck – I am not the least bit surprised at his performance. I am upset though with multiple media outlets making it appear he was so hurt he might not make it through the entire game, which was clearly not the case. Hasselbeck is a must have pick up if you need a QB (46% of ESPN leagues).

Mark Sanchez - if you are in deeper leagues or have a bye he has been pretty solid with the exception of week 4 vs. New Orleans

Wide Receivers

Nate Burleson - is one of those play good at home play bad on the road type of guys. He has gotten plenty of looks this season.
Sidney Rice - has 50 or more yards in the last 3 games.
Austin Collie - I am not sure he can keep this up but dang 3 TDs over 150 yards in 2 weeks
Miles Austin – had a record day I don’t see any close to that happening again.
He dropped 2 TDs in the game and he played 5 quarters.

Week 5 Waiver Wire Pick-Ups

I do write these myself but due to some unforeseen circumstances I have put together quoted list of guys from the source below and eliminated suggestions I find have no value and are a waste of a pick-up.

"QB Derek Anderson, Browns: Anderson had the best performance of any Brown quarterback so far this season, completing 26-of-48 passes for 269 yards, a touchdown and an interception. He is probably not worth starting yet, but if you are in a quarterback pinch with bye weeks Anderson could be a decent play against Buffalo next week as they rank 21st in the league in pass defense."

A deep league candidate who could reemerge into his 2007 form.

"RB Rashard Mendenhall, Steelers: Mendenhall, starting in place of Willie Parker, carried 29 times for 165 yards and two touchdowns against the Chargers Sunday night. He also added two receptions for 26 yards. Mendenhall responded to his benching in Week 3 by finally showing why the team drafted him in the first round two years ago. Not only did he have a career day statistically, he also had a couple of Hines Ward-like blocks in the game to put a stamp on his performance. As well, he had some key runs in the fourth quarter when the Steelers tried to eat up the clock as the Chargers were mounting a fourth-quarter comeback. Let the talk of a running back controversy begin as he had more yards rushing Sunday than Willie Parker has had all season (159)."

With Willie Parker's constant injury issues he is great player to have on your bench and a great start should Parker miss this weeks game.


"RB Jerome Harrison, Browns: Harrison carried 29 times for 121 yards and also caught five passes for 31 yards in Sunday's overtime loss to the Bengals. With James Davis done for the season and Jamal Lewis inactive, Harrison was forced into a lead role and he more than held his own, with the one downer being a lost fumble. Even when Lewis is back, Harrison has likely earned himself some extra touches going forward with his capable Week 4 effort."


"RB Ricky Williams, Dolphins: Williams had 16 carries for 85 yards on Sunday versus Buffalo . The Dolphins destroyed the Bills with their ground attack to the tune of 250 yards. Williams had another big game, averaging 5.3 yards per carry, with a long of 28 yards and a touchdown. Look for the Dolphins to continue to keep the ball on the ground to take the pressure off quarterback Chad Henne."


"WR Kenny Britt, Titans: Britt had seven catches and recorded his first 100-plus yard game of his career (105) against the Jaguars on Sunday. Britt had the best game so far in his short career in both receptions and yards, but did not come away with a touchdown catch. He is looking as if he may become a productive starting receiver in the future."

Mark “Sexy” Sanchez – A pretty solid number two quarterback.

Shaun Hill - Plays STL this week.

Jason Campell - Better they say uh Kyle Orton

Running Backs
Correll Buckhalter – Has been quite productive in his role as the number 2 back in Denver.
Tashard Choice – Good play if one or both of the other Dallas backs are out.
Wide Receivers

Nate Burleson has 33 targets on season giving him the third most among wide receivers. He has 229 yards and 1 touchdown on the season.
Johnny Knox - I have not totally bought into him yet because of lack of targets (16). But if you are in need of a receiver to fill in for this weeks byes he has scored in the last two weeks and plays Detroit this week.
Mike Sims-Walker – Is slowly emerging as the Jaguars top receiving threat. He has 12 catches 187 yards and one touchdown on the season (He didn’t play in week 1).
For Deeper Leagues
Kelley Washington has had at least 40 yards in every game this season. Good pick-up for deeper leagues.
Pierre Garcon is bound to come back to earth! But if you are in a deeper league go ahead and pick him up.
Kenny Britt has been averaging 5 fantasy points per game.
Tight-ends

Vernon Davis – if you are in a ten-team league chances are you are set at tight end. Unless have Zach Miller plagued by JaMarcus “the Joke” Russell. Then you will be picking up Davis who had a huge game against Minn last week 7 catches 96 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Brian Celek has been phenomenal. 2 touchdowns and two 100-yard games this season.

Mario Manningham - 208 yards and 2 scores.

Johnny Knox at least 70 yards in first two games(152) and one score.

Laurent Robinson leads Rams in targets.

Tight-Ends

Defense

Broncos Defense - Play Oakland this week. This season they have allowed 13 points and forced 5 turnovers.

Lawrence Tynes-Is my kicker in 90% of my leagues and the number 1 fantasy kicker so far.
