Week 8 NFL Picks
Minnesota Vikings (6-1) at Green Bay Packers (4-2)
Favre will put a nail in his old fans hearts as defeats the Packers for the second time.
Bills could pull an upset like I also said last week but like last week I am going with favorite. The Bills didn't put the Jets away despite all the turnovers they forced in their win last. Also I don't think the Bills can keep up with the high powered Texan offense, that is unless Terrell Owens emerges.
Cleveland Browns (1-6) at Chicago Bears (3-3)
The Bears quite frankly aren't who we thought they would be and a Brown win isn't so far fetched considering how close they played the Bengals. But I am picking Chicago because they are playing at home and I think Matt Forte should be able to get something going on the ground.
Seattle Seahawks (2-4) at Dallas Cowboys (4-2)
As much as I would like to pick the Seahawks, I feel they are simply out talented by the Cowboys.
St.Louis Rams (0-7) at Detroit Lions (1-5)
Possibly the last chance the Rams have at winning this season. They have to be frustrated with the lack of success. The reason I pick the Rams is the Lions have given up so many points this season, and have a few key injuries they will limit them. The game will be won through the ground. So which ever back has the most success I expect to be on the winning team.
(Alex Smith starts this week)
San Francisco 49ers (3-3) at Indianapolis Colts (6-0)
An inexperienced quarterback starting at Indy does not make for a good combination. If the 49ers were to win they would need to pull some big plays and be able to pressure Manning.
Miami Dolphins (2-4) at New York Jets (4-3)
They beat them once, I think they can do it again. They are a very good team despite their 2-4 record.
Denver Broncos (6-0) at Baltimore Ravens (3-3)
Have the Ravens beat an Elite team this season?
New York Giants (5-2) at Philadelphia Eagles (4-2)
Eagles will be without Brian Westbrook which is a huge loss to the team going into this weeks matchup.
Jacksonville Jaguars (3-3) at Tennessee Titans (0-6)
As horrible as the Titans have been and how badly they got beaten by the Jags previously this could be a really tight game. I got to have faith my team will pull it off. But I am not 100% confident.
Oakland Raiders (2-5) at San Diego Chargers (3-3)
Honestly if Russell wasn't starting I would pick the Raiders but he is and he is horrible.
Carolina Panthers (2-4) at Arizona Cardinals (4-2)
I was saying all last season the Panthers were a fluke. Their quarterback just isn't very good. But now finally everyone else has realized that. The Cardinals are the number 1 run defense so the Panthers will be forced to pass early and often.
Atlanta Falcons (4-2) at New Orleans Saints (6-0)
Toughest challenge they will have until the week 14 rematch with the Falcons. Saints are playing so well 16-0 is not out of the question.

Week 8 Waiver Wire Pickup

Other Pickups
- Tory Holt has 196 yards and 12 catches in two games. He has Tenn and KC coming up.
- Cardinals Defense plays Car this week. EVEN the Bills managed 14 points so expect the number 1 run D to out the wood to them.
- Austin Collie Err on the side of caution with A.Gonzalez's possible return.
- Lee Evans back to back scores with Fitzpatrick starting at quarterback.
- Jamaal Charles Scary Larry has been banned from the team. His return to starter after the bye week is unlikely. Charles is a MUST grab if he starts because Larry was 4th in the NFL in rushing attempts, meaning Charles will see plenty of action.
- Miles Austin Went ape bananas again. INSANITY!
Deeper League Pick-Ups
- WR Michael Crabtree had 5 catchs 50+ yards in his debut.
- QB Alex Smith is the new starter in San Francisco.
- RB Shonn Greene carried 19 times for 144 yards and two touchdowns. With L.Washington out for the season he should see 10+ carries a game.
Drop
Fred Jackson had 5 carries to Lynches 17. There is a new sheriff in town.

Tackling a Ref Not a Good Idea
The player who tackled the ref was flagged next series in what many see as a retaliation by the ref.

Sherman to Sherman "You know what now that you say it, no"
Sherman to Sherman "So what do I tell Campbell?"
Sherman to Sherman "Nothing he is so bad, if he screws up no one will notice anything is wrong"
Sherman to Campbell "Do the darn thing!"
Here is my play calling advice for the Redskins.

My Interview With Colts Fan ShyneIV
How did you become a Colts fan?
Living in Canada have you ever attended an NFL game?
Being a professional basketball player in the Montreal Basketball League have you ever considered a football career?
Fair enough, one hit in football can be career ending. What position on the football field would you equate to your basketball position?
Speaking of safeties Bob Sanders or Troy Polamalu?
Good choice. If you could add any player to the Colts' roster who would it be and why?
What do u think action jacksons odds of scoring this week are?
The Colts lol.
Who is your favorite running back In the NFL?
Hey I am the one asking the questions here! Steven Jackson the best double threat in football.
Okay , do you have a fantasy football team this season?
Ok then. Can I have a prediction of the Colts Rams final score?
I did haha. Best of luck to you and your Colts this week trying keeping your unbeaten streak alive.
